Morocco seeks 26 billion dollars for atlantic gas pipeline project
Morocco is ramping up efforts to secure critical funding for the Atlantic African Gas Pipeline (AAGP), a joint initiative with Nigeria. The North African kingdom is in advanced discussions with the United States Export-Import Bank (US Exim Bank) and the World Bank to raise the required $26 billion in financing, according to Ambassador Youssef Amrani of Morocco to the United States.
