“We will employ every legal avenue at our disposal, including the motion of no confidence, to bring down the government, and as many times as necessary,” Ousmane Sonko declared before an assembly of his party’s activists. “We have struggled for a decade, enduring sacrifices and losing martyrs. We will not permit such practices to take root,” he firmly maintained.
