Chad president returns from UAE after high-level talks
Chad’s President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno has returned to N’Djamena following an official visit to the United Arab Emirates, where he held discussions with UAE leadership.
Chadian President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno touched down in N’Djamena late yesterday evening, concluding a significant official visit to the United Arab Emirates. The trip included high-level discussions aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between the two nations.
During his stay in Abu Dhabi, the President engaged in two separate meetings with UAE leader Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The first discussion took place at the Presidential Palace, while the second was held at the Chadian Head of State’s official residence.
Upon his arrival at N’Djamena International Airport, President Déby was greeted by a high-profile delegation. The welcoming committee included Prime Minister Allah-Maye Halina, the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, several government ministers, the State Minister and Secretary-General of the Presidency, the Personal Chief of Staff, the Deputy Civil Cabinet Director, the Deputy Private Secretary, and the Mayor of N’Djamena.
