Chad president returns from official visit to the United Arab Emirates
The President of Chad, Marshal Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, returned to N’Djamena this evening following an official visit to the United Arab Emirates.
During his stay, the Head of State held two high-level meetings with the President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The first discussion took place at the Presidential Palace, while the second was hosted at the Marshal’s residence.
Upon his arrival, President Déby was welcomed at the airport by Prime Minister Allah-Maye Halina, the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, several government officials, the State Minister and Secretary-General of the Presidency, the Special Chief of Staff, the Deputy Civil Cabinet Director, the Deputy Private Secretary, and the Mayor of N’Djamena.
