Benin election officials advance AI skills in India

Benin’s election leadership is honing its technological expertise during a high-level training program in New Delhi. From July 6 to 10, members of the Autonomous National Electoral Commission (CENA) are exploring how artificial intelligence can revolutionize electoral processes.

Hosted by the India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management (IIIDEM) under the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) program, this intensive session equips CENA officials with practical skills in deploying AI for election administration. The curriculum covers critical areas such as digital governance, ethical considerations, human rights protection, cybersecurity, risk management, and the legal frameworks governing innovative technologies in electoral contexts.
