Mankono’s rhdp launches political revitalization drive

Mankono, Côte d’Ivoire – The departmental secretariat of the Rally of Houphouëtists for Democracy and Peace (RHDP) in both the Mankono commune and sub-prefecture successfully concluded its political re-entry on July 17 and 18, 2026. The two-day event focused on a comprehensive review of the 2025 elections, intensive training for party activists, and a strategic initiative to reinvigorate grassroots structures.

Cissé Namory, the RHDP departmental secretary whose political jurisdiction encompasses the Mankono commune and sub-prefecture, emphatically reaffirmed the unwavering commitment of militants in the Béré region. Their collective goal, he stated, is to tirelessly work towards strengthening the presidential party’s influence and presence.

Mr. Namory expressed profound satisfaction with the RHDP’s decisive victory in the recent legislative elections within his political department, an achievement secured by Deputy Salimata Fofana épouse Méité. However, he also voiced regret over instances of indiscipline observed among certain party members, suggesting that such conduct had, at times, received tacit support from some party executives.

“We bear a fundamental duty of sincerity towards our militants to safeguard the cohesion and effectiveness of our political endeavors,” he declared, issuing a firm call for enhanced discipline and unity across all levels of the RHDP.

The political re-entry program was structured around two pivotal segments. The inaugural day featured a thought-provoking seminar under the theme: “Drawing lessons from the last ballot and charting the course for the new militant cycle.”

During this significant occasion, Professor Soro David, the deputy national secretary responsible for the RHDP’s political structures, delivered an insightful conference. His presentation focused on “The contribution of the National Development Plan (PND) 2026-2030 to the advancement of the Béré region.”

Professor Soro meticulously outlined the substantial achievements realized in Béré through the PND 2021-2025, before detailing the promising opportunities presented by the new PND 2026-2030. “The Béré region has reaped considerable benefits from the PND 2021-2025 and stands to gain even more significantly from the PND 2026-2030,” he asserted, highlighting numerous planned projects spanning the vital sectors of education, health, and infrastructure.

Professor Soro further commended the dedication of regional executives and the people of Béré who stand firmly alongside President Alassane Ouattara. He emphasized that their active involvement serves as a crucial catalyst for the region’s development and bolsters governmental action throughout this important part of Côte d’Ivoire.
