Military authorities from Chad and the Central African Republic are stepping up joint security initiatives along their shared border regions. Participants approved a comprehensive plan for Operation Sentinelle, developed by the G5 Sahel Joint Force, to enhance border protection. The strategy includes:

- Enhanced rapid-response capabilities for joint forces
- Deeper security cooperation between Chad and the Central African Republic
