The second session of the National Development Plan (PND) 2026-2030 Consultative Group, focused on investors, took place on July 9, 2026, at the Sofitel Hôtel Ivoire in Abidjan, under the leadership of Prime Minister Robert Beugré Mambé.

« This marks a pivotal moment for our consultative framework dedicated to investment, enterprise, and value creation, » Prime Minister Mambé stated. « We have succeeded in assembling over 700 investors from friendly nations to drive forward our development goals. »

With a delegation of business leaders, investors, and private sector representatives present in Abidjan, the Prime Minister emphasized that this gathering serves as a crucial platform for dialogue and alignment with the private sector’s vision for shared progress.

« Your commitment alongside us reflects the confidence you place in Ivory Coast’s economic outlook and growth potential, » he added. « You are essential partners in transforming our economy into a more competitive and job-creating powerhouse. Success hinges on your willingness to invest. »

The Prime Minister underscored the government’s commitment to positioning the private sector as the driving force behind Ivory Coast’s economic transformation. He reassured investors that the country’s economy has consistently demonstrated resilience and adaptability, with an average growth rate of 6.5% in recent years, solidifying its status as one of Africa’s most dynamic economies.

« Today, you are presented with a rapidly expanding market brimming with opportunities, » Mambé noted. « The discussions today will fast-track investments in key sectors outlined in the PND 2026-2030, including industrialization and local processing of raw materials to enhance value addition, infrastructure development—particularly in transport, digital technology, and logistics—to bolster competitiveness, and investments in human capital, innovation, and essential services for a more productive and inclusive economy. »

He highlighted that the first day of the event, dedicated to institutional partners and the presentation of Ivory Coast’s development strategy, drew over 3,000 participants from 49 countries, including Ivory Coast itself.

In a show of support, leaders from major business organizations echoed their confidence in Ivory Coast’s leadership. Ahmed Cissé, President of the General Confederation of Ivorian Enterprises (CGECI), Mehdi Tazi, President of the Africa Committee of the French Business Movement (MEDEF), and Mohamed Gouled, Vice-President of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), affirmed their readiness to contribute significantly to the PND 2026-2030 through substantial financial commitments.
