Chelsea Breaks Record with $137m Transfer of Morgan Rogers

Chelsea has announced the transfer of Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers, making him the most expensive player in the club’s history.

The 23-year-old winger was signed for a staggering €137 million, surpassing the previous record set by Elliot Anderson, who joined Manchester City for £135 million earlier this week.

Rogers has signed a six-year contract with Chelsea, making him the most expensive English player in history.

“I’m very excited. For me, Chelsea is the biggest club in London and one I’ve always admired since childhood,” Rogers said.

Arsenal was also interested in Rogers.
