Chad president concludes UAE visit, returns to N’Djamena

The President of Chad, Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, returned to N’Djamena late in the evening following an official visit to the United Arab Emirates. His arrival marked the conclusion of a diplomatic engagement aimed at strengthening bilateral ties.

The two-day visit included two high-level meetings with His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates. The first discussion took place at the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi, while the second was held at the Chadian Head of State’s residence during the visit.

Upon landing in the Chadian capital, President Déby was welcomed by a delegation led by Prime Minister Allah-Maye Halina, alongside senior military officials, government members, and key presidential staff. The reception also included the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, the Minister of State and Secretary-General of the Presidency, the Special Chief of Staff, the Deputy Civil Cabinet Director, the Deputy Special Secretary, and the Mayor of N’Djamena.
