In a significant step towards bolstering energy infrastructure and fostering regional collaboration, Algeria and Chad have finalized an agreement for the construction of a 40-megawatt electricity generation facility in N’Djamena, the Chadian capital. The landmark pact was formally signed in Algiers by Algeria’s Minister of Energy and Renewable Energies, Mourad Adjal, and Chad’s Minister of Water and Energy, Passalé Kanabé Marcelin. This initiative directly aligns with the strategic vision of Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, emphasizing robust support for African nations and the proactive advancement of South-South cooperation.
