Khardiata Tandian’s Fate Remains Uncertain After Court Ruling

The decision was made due to Cherif Zeyni Abidin Sy’s absence, who is considered a co-accused by the prosecution.

The court has rejected Khardiata Tandian’s request for provisional release, citing concerns that her presence in custody could disrupt public order.

Her defense team argued that she should be released due to the potential for her sentence to be served through her prison stay and that prolonging her detention would severely impact her social life.

The prosecution countered that Khardiata Tandian posed a risk to public safety and did not provide sufficient guarantees of her ability to represent herself in court.
