ABIDJAN (Côte d’Ivoire) – The FIBA Africa regional office has officially designated Tunisia and Senegal as the host nations for the fourth window of the FIBA World Cup 2027 African Qualifiers. This pivotal stage brings the continent’s top basketball talent closer to the global showpiece.

Tunisia is poised to welcome the intense Group E clashes at the renowned Multipurpose Hall in Radès, a vibrant suburb of Tunis. Concurrently, Senegal will host the competitive Group F encounters at the state-of-the-art Dakar Arena, setting the stage for thrilling basketball action.

Basketball enthusiasts can mark their calendars for these pivotal matches, scheduled to take place from August 27 through August 30.

Group E features a formidable lineup, including Cameroon (5-1), Guinea (4-2), Tunisia (4-2), Nigeria (4-2), South Sudan (4-2), and Cape Verde (3-3). The competition in this group promises to be fierce as teams vie for qualification spots.

Meanwhile, Group F presents another compelling roster with Senegal (5-1), Côte d’Ivoire (5-1), Mali (5-1), Angola (4-2), Egypt (3-3), and the Democratic Republic of Congo (2-4). These teams will battle it out for supremacy and a chance to advance.
