Ousmane Sonko, President of the National Assembly, conveyed his profound sadness upon learning of the death of Serigne Abdou Bakhi Mbacké, the Khalife of the Khassim Mbacké family in Guinguinéo, who passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2026.

In a heartfelt message of condolence, Sonko reflected on the many interactions he had with the late religious leader during his visits to Guinguinéo.
