Ndiaga Seck denies private details to investigators about Ousmane Sonko

During his interrogation, political figure Ndiaga Seck, aged 51, made a definitive statement about his relationship with Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko, specifically addressing his private life. In a clear declaration, he stated in Wolof: « Xamul woon li may dund », which translates to « He knew nothing about my private affairs ».

Seck emphasized that Sonko had no knowledge of his sexual orientation or personal practices. The case, which originated from the Linguère urban police station, is now progressing under a detention order at the Louga investigating judge’s office.

Earlier this week, Seck was formally charged and placed under detention by the investigating judge at the Louga court of first instance. The charges stem from his transfer by the Linguère police for alleged « acts against nature ».
