Lyon signs young defender from psg until 2030
The Olympique Lyonnais have secured the permanent signing of Noham Kamara from Paris Saint-Germain, finalizing a transfer that was initially arranged as a loan with an option to buy during the winter transfer window. The 19-year-old defender, standing at 1.85 meters tall, will remain under contract with the Rhône-based club until June 2030.
The deal, valued at €4.1 million, includes an additional €2 million in potential bonuses. Furthermore, Olympique Lyonnais will receive a 20% share of any future resale value, adding a performance incentive for the young international. Kamara, a versatile defender capable of playing both in the center-back position and on the right flank, has already made two appearances in Ligue 1 since joining Lyon.
Originally developed in the Parisian football academies before moving to PSG’s youth setup, Kamara brings technical solidity and physical presence to the Lyon defense. His adaptability to multiple defensive roles positions him as a valuable asset for the club’s tactical flexibility in the coming seasons.
