Laborex Tchad marks three decades of pharmaceutical excellence
Laborex Tchad, a subsidiary of the CFAO Healthcare Group, has just commemorated three decades of unwavering service in the pharmaceutical sector. A milestone celebration held in N’Djamena brought together stakeholders to honor an enterprise that has become synonymous with quality medical supply across Chad.
Established in 1996, Laborex Tchad has been a cornerstone of the national healthcare system. For 30 years, it has consistently delivered essential pharmaceutical products and medical devices to pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, and health centers nationwide. From the capital, N’Djamena, to regional hubs like Moundou, Sarh, Abéché, and Bongor, the company’s reach extends to every corner of the country.
Honoring partnerships and professionalism
The anniversary event featured speeches from key figures, including the Chair of the Board, Ms. Ngarmbatina Sou IV, and Mr. Sébastien Roux, Deputy Zone Director of CFAO Healthcare. Ms. Ngarmbatina reflected on the company’s journey, expressing deep gratitude to the Chadian authorities for their steadfast support throughout its growth. She also acknowledged financial partners, pharmacists, pharmaceutical depots, healthcare facilities, and loyal customers for placing their trust in Laborex Tchad.
“Choosing Laborex Tchad isn’t merely routine—it’s a deliberate decision rooted in trust,” she emphasized. “Our mission is simple yet profound: to ensure the right medication reaches the right patient at the right time, every time, across Chad.”
With visible emotion, she added, “Three decades is no small feat. But we’re just getting started—aiming for at least another 70 years of service.”
Celebrating human ambition and collaboration
Mr. Sébastien Roux took the floor to share his perspective, tracing his 24-year journey within the CFAO Healthcare Group. He praised Laborex Tchad’s enduring spirit, calling it both an established and youthful organization through its dedicated workforce. He paid tribute to former leaders, including Ms. Maria Mion Calvet, and commended the current leadership under General Director Ms. Tignocqua for driving progress.
“Laborex is a company with deep roots, yet it remains vibrant and dynamic thanks to its people,” he remarked. He also recognized the Ministry of Public Health for its close collaboration, along with laboratory partners, banking institutions, and the entire staff for their relentless commitment.
“It’s your collective dedication that enables us to maintain a seamless and reliable supply of pharmaceuticals across Chad,” he concluded.
The celebration concluded on a high note, filled with traditional rhythms from the balafon—a cultural highlight that resonated deeply with all attendees.
