Abidjan, July 9, 2026 — The second day of the National Development Plan (PND) 2026-2030 Consultative Group, specifically tailored for investors, kicked off today at the Sofitel Hôtel Ivoire in Abidjan under the leadership of Prime Minister Robert Beugré Mambé.
The event marks a pivotal moment in Côte d’Ivoire’s economic trajectory, with over 700 investors from allied nations converging to explore opportunities tied to the nation’s ambitious growth agenda. « This gathering represents a critical milestone in our collective drive to attract private capital and foster value creation, » the Prime Minister remarked during his address.
With corporate leaders, investors, and private sector representatives filling the venue, the Prime Minister emphasized the significance of this forum as both a dialogue platform and a catalyst for aligning private sector ambitions with national development priorities. « Your presence here today reflects the trust you place in Côte d’Ivoire’s economic potential and its capacity for robust growth, » he stated. « As key partners, your investments will be instrumental in transforming our vision into reality—a vision centered on a more competitive, job-rich economy. »
The Prime Minister underscored the government’s commitment to positioning the private sector as the engine of Côte d’Ivoire’s economic transformation. He reassured investors of the nation’s economic resilience, citing an average growth rate of 6.5% over recent years—a testament to its adaptability amid global disruptions. « Côte d’Ivoire stands among Africa’s most dynamic economies, » he asserted.
« Today, you are presented with a market brimming with potential, » he continued. « The sessions ahead will spotlight strategic investment avenues outlined in the PND 2026-2030, particularly industrialization, local raw material processing to boost value addition, and the expansion of critical infrastructure in transport, digital technology, and logistics to enhance our economic competitiveness. Investments in human capital, innovation, and essential services will further propel us toward a more productive and inclusive economy. »
He highlighted that the first day of the Consultative Group, focused on institutional partners and development strategy presentations, had already drawn over 3,000 participants from 49 countries, including Côte d’Ivoire.
