The Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Crafts of Cameroon (Ccima) convened private sector representatives on June 24, 2026, to develop proposals for the preparation of the 2027 finance law.

This consultative meeting aimed to gather, analyze, and harmonize the concerns of economic operators before their scheduled discussions with the Directorate General of Taxes (DGI). The core of the deliberations focused on enhancing the national tax framework, boosting business competitiveness, and improving the overall attractiveness of the business environment. Following the intense working sessions, approximately twenty concrete proposals were put forward.

This proactive approach by Ccima reflects a strong desire to strengthen public-private dialogue and foster a taxation system that is more closely aligned with the realities of Cameroon’s dynamic economy.
