The verbal confrontation between Waly Diouf Bodian and Madiambal Diagne has escalated significantly.

Responding to a piece published by Madiambal Diagne regarding Ousmane Sonko, the Director of the Autonomous Port of Dakar expressed his disapproval in no uncertain terms.

In a particularly sharp condemnation, Waly Diouf Bodian accused the journalist of disseminating inaccurate information and constructing fictional narratives.

“Madiambal, a master fabulist, has once again concocted a story, a skill only he seems to possess,” Bodian asserted.

Continuing his verbal offensive, he added, “The individual he refers to as a fugitive possesses a devilish knack for spreading nonsense. He would undoubtedly excel as a screenwriter for fantasy films.”

This latest round of accusations further fuels the persistent friction between certain figures within the government and the journalist, who maintains a prominent presence in Senegalese public discourse.
