Benin unveils new government balancing continuity and digital transformation
Moments after his inauguration as President of Bénin, Romuald Wadagni announced the formation of his first cabinet. The 25-member government—comprising 22 ministers and three deputy ministers—reflects a strategic blend of experienced officials and fresh perspectives, signaling both institutional stability and a forward-looking agenda.

The judicial system will now be led by Yvon Détchénou, who assumes the role of Minister of Justice and Legislation.
