Calling for unity and sincere dialogue in Chad

Emmanuel Nadingar, president of the Universal Peace Federation’s Chadian chapter, convened a press briefing on May 23 at the Sabangali headquarters in N’Djaména’s third arrondissement.

During the session, the former Prime Minister underscored the urgency of fostering peace amid escalating global conflicts and the country’s own socio-political tensions.

Nadingar highlighted how violent struggles over dwindling resources have driven communities to close ranks, while warning that Chad’s internal landscape has also seen ‘significant developments’—without elaborating further.

To counter these ‘challenges,’ he urged all Chadians to reject divisive tendencies, isolationism, and acts of aggression. His remedy? A collective commitment to listening, openness, and a genuine, unfiltered dialogue.

The veteran leader emphasized that national unity is the cornerstone for addressing the myriad crises encircling the nation. ‘Only by standing together can we summon the strength to overcome the obstacles before us,’ he stated.
