Senegalese minister slams sonko’s touba money laundering claims

Touba’s spiritual significance has once again taken center stage in Senegal’s political discourse following recent remarks by opposition leader Ousmane Sonko. Minister of Land and Air Transport, Abdoul Ahad Ndiaye, has forcefully rejected Sonko’s allegations that “stolen funds” were funneled into the holy city, calling the accusations a blatant disrespect to Touba’s residents and religious heritage.
