During his visit to Louga on Saturday morning, the Pastef leader arrived at the Koki daara but was unable to proceed as planned due to the overwhelming turnout of talibés.
Unprecedented turnout halts Sonko’s movement
Despite his intention to continue inside the daara, Sonko was stopped in his tracks by the sheer number of supporters who had come to greet him. The talibés, in large numbers, blocked the convoy, chanting the opposition leader’s name with great enthusiasm.
