Chadian prime minister commends Algerian president’s continental leadership

In a meeting held in N’Djamena on Thursday, Chad’s Prime Minister and head of government, Allamaye Halina, received Abdelkader Djellaoui, Algeria’s Minister of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure. During the session, the Chadian leader expressed deep appreciation for the efforts of Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune in advancing bilateral cooperation and strengthening Africa’s integration.

Stronger ties through vision and solidarity

The Prime Minister of Chad highlighted President Tebboune’s leadership at the continental level, emphasizing his commitment to fostering solidarity and sustainable development across Africa. He conveyed the high regard Chad holds for Algeria’s role in promoting regional stability and socioeconomic progress.

« The wisdom and dedication of President Tebboune have been instrumental in deepening bonds between our nations, » Allamaye Halina remarked, underlining the historical and fraternal ties uniting the two countries. He also extended warm greetings from Chad’s President, Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, to his Algerian counterpart, reinforcing the enduring nature of their partnership.

Algerian delegation strengthens cooperation ties

The high-level meeting followed a two-day working visit to Chad by Abdelkader Djellaoui, during which Algeria’s delegation included senior officials such as Sifi Ghrieb, Algeria’s Prime Minister, alongside key figures from the Ministry of Public Works and Infrastructure. The group was joined by the Director-General of the Algerian Agency for International Cooperation and Development, Abed Hallouz, and Algeria’s Ambassador to Chad.

Representatives from major Algerian public works firms, including Cosider Travaux Publics and the National Public Works Company (Entp), were also present, signaling a shared commitment to expanding infrastructure collaboration between the two nations.
