AU commissioner lauds Morocco’s industrial progress under King Mohammed VI

The African Union (AU) Commissioner for Economic Development, Tourism, Trade, Industry and Mines, Francisca Tatchouop Belobe, praised Morocco’s advancements under King Mohammed VI’s guidance during a Monday press briefing in Rabat.

Following her meeting with Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita, she underscored the kingdom’s significant industrial growth, particularly in automotive and aerospace manufacturing, which has made it a leading force on the continent.

Ms. Belobe also commended Morocco’s willingness to share its expertise with fellow African countries and highlighted the creation of a value chain for critical minerals within the kingdom.

The AU official expressed heartfelt thanks to King Mohammed VI for his steadfast support of the African Union Commission.
