Algeria and Niger initiate oil exploration in Kafra South-East

The inauguration ceremony was held at the Kafra oil field, located in northern Niger. Representing Algerian authorities, Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb joined his Nigerien counterpart, Ali Lamine Zeine Mahaman, to preside over the event.

A high-level Algerian delegation accompanied the Prime Minister, including:

• Mohamed Arkab, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Hydrocarbons;
