During an official mission to Dakar, the Gabonese Minister of State for Transport, Merchant Marine, and Logistics, Ulrich Manfoumbi Manfoumbi, held substantive talks with his counterpart in Sénégal, Abdoul Ahad Ndiaye. The discussions focused extensively on upgrading transport infrastructure and consolidating bilateral collaboration through a dynamic exchange of operational know-how between Libreville and Dakar.

Gabon intends to leverage the advancements achieved in Sénégal to overhaul and structure its own transit network. Maintaining smooth transit across borders, harmonising safety standards, and coordinating technical management practices were highlighted as essential priorities. The talks also underlined the necessity of investing in professional development and capacity-building for sector personnel.
