According to decisions finalized by the Bureau, lawmakers will deliberate on two private member’s bills, three government bills, and six requests to establish parliamentary inquiry commissions. Among the most anticipated proposals is a bill to amend Article 37 of the Constitution, which governs the declaration of assets for the President of the Republic. Additionally, deputies will review a bill aimed at regulating special credits and other secret funds—a recurring topic in discussions about fiscal transparency and public financial management.

These two private member’s bills have already cleared a significant hurdle.
