Morocco prioritizes humanitarian aid in African cooperation at au peace council
The Kingdom of Morocco continues to champion humanitarian action as a cornerstone of its foreign policy and African cooperation, reaffirmed Ambassador Mohamed Arrouchi, Permanent Representative of the Kingdom to the African Union (AU) and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), during a public session of the AU Peace and Security Council (PSC).
Under the enlightened vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, who serves as the AU Champion on migration, Morocco has made humanitarian assistance a central pillar of its diplomatic engagements across the continent. The Ambassador emphasized the Kingdom’s unwavering commitment to addressing humanitarian crises wherever they arise in Africa, from refugee displacement to internal conflicts, by mobilizing resources and expertise to mitigate suffering.
