Mali offers up to 2 billion cfa for terror suspect intel
The Malian authorities have unveiled a financial incentive ranging from 500 million to 2 billion West African CFA francs for credible and actionable intelligence leading to the arrest or neutralization of seven individuals sought for suspected terrorist activities.
The initiative was announced in an official statement signed by the Minister of Security and Civil Protection, General Daoud Aly Mohammedine. Authorities emphasized that this move reinforces the national strategy to combat terrorism and safeguard public safety.
The targeted individuals are accused of involvement in planning, organizing, or carrying out attacks that have endangered both lives and property across Mali.
The list includes:
- Iyad Ag Ghali, also known as Abou Al-Fadel;
- Hamadoun Hassan Sangaré, alias Amadou Kouffa or Môbbô;
- Abdoulaye Mamadou Bakaye Diallo, referred to as Jouleybib de Nampala or Sidi;
- Alghabass Ag Intalla;
- Sedan Ag Hita, with aliases including Outhman Al Ansari, Abdel Hakim Al Kidali, and Al Qayrawani;
- Bilal Ag Acherif;
- Abderrahmane Al-Batna Al-Jazairi.
According to the government’s statement, these individuals are actively being pursued due to their alleged roles in terrorist operations within Mali. Authorities have called on citizens to remain vigilant and cooperate closely with defense and security forces, urging anyone with information that could aid in locating or apprehending these suspects to come forward.
This announcement follows ongoing counterterrorism operations targeting armed groups across multiple regions of the country.
