A vibrant evening celebrating West African traditions through music, dance, and community spirit.

On Saturday, June 20, 2026, the Marcel-Sembat hall came alive with the infectious rhythms of West African music and dance during the «Vibrations africaines» gala, organized by Faso Lili association.

Before a captivated audience of 170 people, this colorful evening showcased the richness of West African heritage while supporting a meaningful cause.

For years, Faso Lili has been dedicated to promoting traditional West African music and dance through classes, workshops, and performances. This annual gala provided members with a platform to share their progress alongside acclaimed professional artists.

The show featured live music and choreography performed by nearly 70 participants on stage, accompanied by five professional musicians and two professional dancers. The audience was treated to performances by Samba Diarra, singer-songwriter, Ali Diarra from Les Frères Diarra, choreographer and dancer Moussa Camara, and the exceptional Malian dancer Mariam Doumbia, whose energy and talent left a lasting impression.

The evening immersed spectators in lively beats, vibrant costumes, and a true celebration of West African culture. During intermission, guests enjoyed local cuisine and convivial conversations.

Beyond its artistic brilliance, the gala served a humanitarian purpose. Every euro raised went toward funding Faso Lili’s cultural center in Burkina Faso, a project aimed at fostering cultural access, knowledge sharing, and intercultural exchange.

Through the dedication of volunteers, artists, members, and the public, the 2026 edition of «Vibrations africaines» was a resounding success, reaffirming culture’s power to unite, inspire, and create solidarity.
