Diplomatic ties between Morocco and drc highlighted in Rabat meeting
The Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Residing Abroad, Nasser Bourita, welcomed a high-level delegation from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) in Rabat this week. The visit, led by Crispin Mbadu Phanzu, Deputy Minister for the Minister of State overseeing Foreign Affairs, Francophonie, and Congolese Abroad, carried a formal message from President Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi addressed to His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
Following the closed-door discussions, Mbadu Phanzu addressed the media, emphasizing the strong bilateral ties between Morocco and the DRC. He noted the deep historical bonds uniting the two nations and highlighted that his mission in Morocco is primarily focused on advancing his country’s bid to host the next Secretary-General of the International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF).
