Burundi firmly backs Morocco’s territorial integrity including Sahara

The Republic of Burundi has once again confirmed its unwavering support for Morocco’s territorial integrity and full sovereignty over its entire land, including the Sahara region.

This stance was reaffirmed in a joint statement following high-level talks between Burundi’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration, and Development Cooperation, Édouard Bizimana, and Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Residents Abroad, Nasser Bourita.
