Local youth rally behind security forces in fight against terrorism

On the afternoon of Sunday, May 24, 2026, in Baga-Sola, young activists through the Lake Region Youth Associations Coordination (CADELAC) demonstrated solidarity with the Defense and Security Forces (FDS), who are actively combating Boko Haram threats.

Standing before local leaders, CADELAC coordinator Mahamat Adam Moustapha first conveyed heartfelt condolences to the families affected by the recent Barka Tollorom attacks. He then praised the immense sacrifices made by the FDS to safeguard regional stability and underscored the youth’s unwavering commitment to vigilance and community-driven action.

In a symbolic yet practical gesture, CADELAC presented five 50 kg bags of rice and ten cartons of pasta to the security personnel. The coordinator emphasized that this modest contribution reflects the resilience and determination of local youth to stand firmly behind the troops protecting Lake Province.
