Academic partnership between Morocco and spain strengthens management sciences
In a landmark move for academic collaboration, Morocco and Spain have formalized a strategic partnership aimed at advancing management sciences through joint research and knowledge exchange.
A significant agreement was signed over the weekend in Santander, Spain, between the Moroccan Association of Management (AMG), headquartered in Rabat, and the Spanish Scientific Association for Economics and Business Management (ACEDE). This accord establishes a robust framework for cooperation, focusing on fostering scientific exchanges, co-developing research initiatives, and facilitating joint participation in academic events.
The initiative also seeks to bridge gaps between researchers, faculty, and doctoral candidates from both nations, creating a dynamic platform for intellectual collaboration. An official statement from the AMG, an entity closely affiliated with Mohammed V University in Rabat, highlighted the agreement’s role in nurturing a collaborative research environment and deepening ties within the international academic community.
Both associations, which are members of the International Federation of Scholarly Associations of Management (IFSAM), are committed to enhancing the academic and scientific cooperation between Spain and Morocco. Their efforts are particularly focused on empowering young scholars and early-career academics by integrating them into global research networks.
ACEDE, recognized as Spain’s leading academy in business administration and management, was established in 1990. The organization boasts a membership of over 700 university professors and researchers, dedicated to advancing rigorous research and elevating teaching standards in business sciences. Through this partnership, the AMG and ACEDE aim to invigorate scientific exchanges between the two countries while providing young researchers with unprecedented access to international academic platforms.
